- Padam Singh was born and brought up in a middle-class family in the Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh.
- Since childhood, he was inclined towards acting. While he was studying in school and college, he participated in various acting competitions.
- In his teenage years, he used to bunk classes to watch films. He watched the Hindi film Sholay several times. He used to practice dialogues of the film at home.
- While he was in class 8, he memorised around 150 poems. He used to recite such poems in various school programs.
- His grandfather Shiv Ram Singh was called the “Bundelkhand Kesari” of Alha Jagat.
- After studying for 10 years in Delhi, he studied for 15 years in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. After completing his studies in Bhopal, he moved to Mumbai. After around six months of moving to Mumbai, he got a chance to work in a serial on DD National.
- While he was studying in college, he started a program called Rang Munch along with his friend Sanjay Srivastav.
- Later, he joined the theatre group Rang Vidushak. He also joined the National Theatre School.
- He acted in the 2008 Hindi TV serial “Bahubali” in episode 1.
