• Hyder Kazmi joined the theatre group after completing a diploma in acting. He played the role of Ekbaal in the theatre drama ‘Deepshikha’ directed by Revtiraman Sharma. He then worked in the theatre drama ‘Two Aro’ directed by Sitaram Singh.

• He has performed with the Indian actor Irrfan Khan in various theatre plays with the Delhi theatre group. He used to consider Irrfan Khan his mentor.

• At the age of 17, he appeared in the Hindi TV serial ‘Bharat Ke Shaheed.’ After this, he got a chance to work in the Hindi TV series Alif Laila (1993) and Sai Baba (2005).
