- Ammara Noman is a Pakistani chef who won the first season of ‘MasterChef Pakistan’ (2014), aired on Urdu1.
- She was brought up by her parents in Islamabad, Pakistan.
- She has received certification from the Karachi Institute of Culinary Arts as an associate in occupational studies culinary arts.
- In 2014, her husband saw an ad for the competitive cooking reality television game show ‘MasterChef Pakistan Season 1.’ He then asked Ammara to fill out the entry form for the show, but she was a bit hesitant. Her husband then motivated her to participate in the show. She made a cold dish in the live cooking challenge round of the show and received appreciation from the judges. She was the only contestant in the show who did not face any elimination round. On 27 July 2014, she was declared the winner of the show, and on winning, she received Pakistani Rupee 5,000,000 and a cookbook deal, along with a free supply of Ariel washing powder for five years.

I started watching MasterChef USA and MasterChef Australia and I used to follow them religiously. While watching these shows I could picture myself standing in the MasterChef kitchen at my own cooking counter.”
