Controversy	Honey Trap On 1 April 2023, Gurbir Singh, a 33-year-old businessman, accused Jasneet Kaur of blackmailing him and filed a complaint against her at the Model Town police station in Ludhiana, Punjab. He mentioned in the complaint that he had received a WhatsApp call from an unknown number in November 2022 demanding Rs 2 crore and threatening to harm him and his family. On 4 April 2023, she was arrested by Punjab Police for sending nude images to Gurbir Singh and blackmailing him for money. Police also arrested her partner in crime Lucky Sandhu, who is a youth Congress leader. Once, a rich man started following her on her social media handle, she used to engage him in an indecent conversation and later threatened him to release his conversation on the internet if he failed to provide her with the ransom amount.
