- At the age of 12, Mohit Goyat started playing Kabaddi. While pursuing his schooling, he trained under the coach Jagbir Sihag.
- In 2017, Mohit Goyat was selected for the Haryana State Kabaddi team. He played his debut match for the Haryana state team at the 29th Sub Junior National Kabaddi Championship held in November 2017 at Dumka in Jharkhand.
