Some Lesser Known Facts About Vipin Heero

• Vipin Heero was born into a Punjabi family in New Delhi. In an interview, he revealed that his surname was Heer but because it didn’t suit him, he changed it to Heero.

• According to him, he started his music journey at an NGO named ‘Manzil’ in Khan Market in Delhi. He learnt the basics of singing there. Later, he started his advanced training at Gandharva Mahavidhalaya and pursued a diploma.

• He performed comedy nights at Hotel Icon, Chandigarh in 2012.

• He translates real-life stories and observations into captivating songs through the power of spoken word. He has the unique ability to compose tunes spontaneously.

• In an interview, he said that theatre has been a significant influence in shaping his musical journey. It served as a source of inspiration for the compositions he created. He drew inspiration from the lyrics and melodies he came across, trusting his instincts while crafting a song. In the interview, he further added that whenever he likes something, he immediately records it on his phone.

• In 2017, he lent his music to the Hindi drama thriller film “Sameer,” directed by Dakxin Bajrange Chhara.

• In 2018, he released the song “10-15 Minute Ke Liye.” The song was based on the story of a young boy’s plea to the girl he admired, requesting just 10-15 minutes of her time to get to know him better. In an interview, Vipin talked about the song and said,
  

  I am very happy and thrilled. I do not know what to expect but I am glad listeners will get to listen to my music which is straight from my heart.”

• In 2018, he composed the Maharashtra Day anthem titled “Bambai Nagariya” which captured the essence of Mumbai’s vibrant spirit and lifestyle. In an interview, he added,
  

  I am a struggler who came to Mumbai to seek my fortune, like thousands of people like me, and I believe if you work hard, Mumbai city will embrace you and help you realize your dreams.”

• In the same year, he released the song ‘Dost’ which he wrote when he was a youngster. In an interview, he talked about it and said that when he was in class six, his parents shifted from Ashok Nagar to Sarojini Nagar after which he had to change the school. He used to miss his friends from old school a lot and wrote a song about it.
