- Mansi Maheshwari was born into a rich family as her father runs an electric parts manufacturing company in Meerut.
- She was good in her studies and topped her school in the 12th standard examinations.
- She later studied knitwear fashion at NIFT, Delhi.
- After completing her bachelor’s degree in 2020, she became interested in animation and moved to London, United Kingdom to study animation design.
- She later worked as an animator in many films such as Leftovers (2023).
- Maheshwari made headlines in 2024 when her film Bunnyhood won the 3rd prize in the La Cinéf category of the 77th Cannes Festival in 2024. She was given a cash prize of 7500 euros.
- She said that she liked mixing horror with comedy genres and the film ‘Bunnyhood’ came out of those ideas.
- The story for the film ‘Bunnyhood’ came out of her personal life as her mother once lied about her having appendix surgery which made her think about the lies being spoken in society.
