Some Lesser Known Facts About Sherpal Bairagi

• His father was an alcoholic and died when he was young.  His mother worked as a farm labourer.

• He started working at the age of 11 years old to support his family. He initially worked as a cycle puncture repairer and later as a construction labourer.

• He later purchased a rikshaw and used it to transport building materials to the construction site and earned Rs 100-150 per trip.

• After an argument, he once became a sadhu (baba or monk) and started living at the village temple in Bahlolpur, Noida. He stayed there for 1 year but returned to normal life after his younger brother convinced him.

• He once went to Vrindavan in Mathura with his cousins. He and his brother made a video in which they ate 80 rotis (chapatis) at a hotel which went viral.

• Bairagi owns a 45 gaj house in his village Bahlolpur which has 8 rooms. He has rented 7 rooms for a monthly rent of Rs 2500. His family lives in one room.

• He lied to his in-law family that he was a company worker when his marriage was being fixed as he believed that if he told that he was a rikshaw puller, his marriage would have been broken. He later revealed the truth to his wife a few days after marriage.

• After appearing in a few videos of his cousin, Pintu Bairagi aka Cheetah, he started making Instagram videos.

• He later had a fight with Cheetah and Devpal Bairagi aka Jaadu and started making Instagram reels of himself only.

• His videos were mainly comedy videos which became popular for his unique style of saying ‘Sher.’

• Sher later met a girl named Khusboo Bairagi aka Sherni, and they started making videos together. They later had a fight after which he stopped working with her.

• He later made many videos with several other female models.

• He is a big supporter of Elvish Yadav and often made reels for Yadav during Bigg Boss OTT, season 2.

• He once said in a podcast that he would make his YouTube channel only if Elvish Yadav told him to do so. He also revealed that he only uploads videos on Instagram and does not have any Facebook account or YouTube channel.

• In December 2023, he was featured in the video of a Haryanvi song ‘Sherr’ sung by Kuldeep Ranwar.

• On 23 December 2023, he started his YouTube channel ‘Sher bairagi 8055.’

• On 29 May 2024, he was arrested by Noida Police for shooting an alleged vulgar video in the D-park situated in Sector 62 of Noida. He was later released from the jail.

• He likes to smoke bidi and hookah and drink alcohol during parties.
