Naina Sareen was raised by her parents in a middle-class family.

Naina Sareen was part of a literature club named ‘Spectrum’ in her school and used to participate in plays. Playing different characters in school plays got her interested in acting and when she was in 8th class, Naina decided that she wanted to become a professional actor.

After completing her formal education, Naina Sareen moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting.

In 2011, Naina Sareen started working as an Instructional designer at the Cognizant Technology Solutions in Bangalore.

In 2012, she started working part-time as a voice-over artist for the Indian telecommunications company named ‘OnMobile’ in Bangalore.

In the same year, Naina got to know about the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) and registered for its admission exam. However, she didn’t clear her written exam and waited for a whole year to prepare for her second attempt before finally getting admission into the institute.

She has appeared in a few short films like Bhagi Hui Ladkiyan (2015) and Undo Thinkforth (2016).

Naina Sareen was cast in her Hindi debut film titled ‘Hotel Mumbai’ (2018) when she was studying at the Film and Television Institute of India.

When she was preparing for her film ‘Hotel Mumbai,’ Naina got in touch with the receptionists at the Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai to learn how they dress up and how they greet their guests.

In 2019, she was cast in the Hindi British period drama film titled ‘The Warrior Queen of Jhansi’ which was based on the 1857 Indian Rebellion against the British East India Company. She played the character of Moti Bai.

Naina had to undergo physical training before shooting the film ‘The Warrior Queen of Jhansi.’ She was trained in sword fighting, archery, and horse riding for the film.

In the same year, she was cast in the Hindi film titled ‘Eeb Allay Ooo!’ in which she played the character of Kumudh.
