• Biswa Kalyan Rath is an Indian stand-up comedian and YouTuber.

• While he was pursuing graduation, he started writing blogs. However, later, he discontinued it as he did not attract enough readers.

• He started working as a UI/UX Designer at Bitzer Mobile in Bangalore after completing his graduation. Later, he joined a private company Oracle in Bangalore.

• In 2013, he met Kanan Gill at an open mic event in Bangalore, it was after this meeting that he decided to quit his job at Oracle and become a full-time comedian.

• I think most Indians opt for professional streams like engineering before realising that their interests lie elsewhere. It was the same in my case. During my IIT days, I realised that I like joking more than engineering. Later, I gave it a serious thought and made the shift.”
