  • On 9 February 2018, SS Sharda was a guest at the felicitation programme in Chieswema, Nagaland, as the DIG HQ 5 sector, Assam Rifles, where he handed over certificates and tools to the local youth trained under the Department of Rural Development (RD).
  • In December 2020, he was the Commander of the Pathankot sub-area when the Swarnim Vijay Varsh celebrations (50 years of the 1971 war victory against Pakistan) were celebrated.
