• Sergio Gor was born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

• In 1994, his family moved to Malta when his mother established a business there and registered as an Israeli national. He was raised in Cospicua, Malta, and attended De La Salle College, a Catholic boys’ school, Cospicua.

• Later, in 1999, his family emigrated from Cospicua to Los Angeles. Sergio Gor attended high school in Los Angeles

• For his graduation, he moved to Washington, DC, to study at George Washington University.

• In an interview, Sergio mentioned that he initially enrolled in university using his full surname, Gorokhovsky, but later shortened it to Gor.

• At George Washington, Sergio Gor participated in College Republicans and founded the university’s Young America Foundation chapter.

• In 2008, Gor supported Senator John McCain’s presidential campaign by advocating for him through a group for Catholics.

• Sergio Gor, who worked for the Republican National Committee, wore a squirrel costume to public events to draw attention to Senator Barack Obama‘s support for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN).

• In May 2013, he began working as communications director for Rand Paul’s political action committee. He later became Paul’s spokesman in 2014 and deputy chief of staff in 2018.

• In June 2020, Sergio Gor left Rand Paul’s office to serve as the chief of staff of the Trump Victory Finance Committee.

In November 2021, they announced the release of a coffee table book, Our Journey Together(2021). The company later published other books, such as Letters to Trump (2023) and Save America (2024).

• In September 2022, MAGA Inc. hired Sergio Gor as a senior advisor.

• In February 2024, Gor had been named to lead a political action committee, Right for America, for Donald Trump.

• In February 2025, Gor was appointed to the board of trustees of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts after Donald Trump removed its previous members.

• In March 2025, Sergio Gor found himself in conflict with Elon Musk during a cabinet meeting regarding Musk’s proposed nominees. Following the meeting, Musk announced that he would no longer work with Gor and referred to him as “Snake” on his X account.

• On August 22, 2025, Donald Trump named Gor as his nominee for United States ambassador to India and also as his special envoy for South and Central Asian affairs.
