- She developed an early interest in joining uniformed forces, influenced by family members, including grandparents, who served in the armed forces.
- She completed her schooling up to Class 10 in Nowshera before moving out of her hometown for further education.
- After Class 10, she shifted to Jammu city to pursue her higher secondary education. She studied Class 11 and Class 12 at MHACS Nagbani School in Jammu.
- After completing higher secondary education, she enrolled at Women’s College, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, for graduation.
