- Gautami Tadimalla is a renowned actress, costume designer, social worker, and politician. She predominately known for her work in Tamil and Telugu cinema, in addition to Malayalam, Hindi, and Kannada films.
- She was born and raised into a doctor Telugu family.
- Because of her parents’ professions, she spent her childhood in different cities including Bengaluru, Visakhapatnam, and parts of Kerala.
- After schooling, she enrolled at GITAM College in Visakhapatnam to study engineering; however, she left her studies in the first year of her course after receiving film offers.
- In an interview, Gautami revealed that her entry into films happened unexpectedly when director Vijaya Chander, who was related to her family noticed her and offered her a role in the film.
