• Adam Shulman was born in New York City.

• Shulman’s first acting role was as Paul O’Bannon on the NBC television drama American Dreams as part of 2005’s five-episode stint.

• He has also performed in a short film called The Gold Lunch in 2008.

• Shulman first met Anne Hathaway at the Palm Springs Film Festival in January 2008.

• The two were introduced by a mutual friend. Later on, the actress announced that she knew from the get-go that he was the love of her life.

• For a while the couple parted ways, each assuming the other was already in a relationship. The two became closer by October 2008.
