• Rapperiya Baalam grew up in a Bishnoi zamindar family in Rajasthan, India.

• In 2006, he moved from Sri Ganganagar to Jaipur to pursue higher education.

• In 2009, Rapperiya Baalam he released his song “Tu Chala Gaya.”

• In September 2010, he released his first hip-hop album, Illegal Nation. He worked as an artist and music composer on the project. The album included songs such as “Tu Chala Gaya,” “Hey Ram,” “Mr. Premranjan,” “Andhera,” “Kiss Me My Love” and “Indian Police.” Meetu Solanki, a noted singer, was also featured on the album.

• In 2010, he worked with singer Ravindra Upadhyay on “Chaaro Taraf Andhera,” a song about corruption and red-tapism in India.

• Rapperiya Baalam then started composing music for theatre and films.

• He composed music and background score for the short film “Flashback: A Journey to the Happy Past,” which was selected for screening at the Jaipur International Film Festival in 2011.

• He also composed music for the musical theatre play “Andhera,” which was directed by Daulat Vaid of the National School of Drama.

• In 2012, he started learning keyboard and piano from Pradeep Chaturvedi, a Jaipur-based music teacher.

• After completing his graduation, Rapperiya Baalam worked with lyricist Kunal Verma.

• In January 2012, they released the album “Maahi Vey” under their music label, Songster Music. He worked on the album as a composer, producer, singer, and lyricist.

• He then released “Sola Shringaar,” a song featuring folk singer Bundu Khan and Kunal Verma.

• In 2013, he released the song “Show Love For My Beautiful City” with folk singer Chirag Khandelwal.

• In 2014, a major breakthrough in his career came with the song “Mharo Rajasthan.”

• He worked on the song with lyricist Kunal Verma and Rajasthani folk singer Swaroop Khan. The song mixed Rajasthani folk, Hindi, hip-hop and rap. It was released to celebrate Rajasthan Day.

• The song was a huge hit. Rapperiya Baalam used the Bagri dialect and some English words to the rap.

• In an interview with a media house, he said that he wanted people to love the Rajasthani language as they love the history, heritage, and buildings of Rajasthan.

• In 2016, he released the song “Hariyala Banna,” which was sung by Ravindra Upadhyay and Kamal Choudhary.

• That same year, Rapperiya Baalam stated in a media talk that he had been part of more than 50 music videos and three movies by that time.

• His song “Jaipur Anthem” featured singers Gargi and Anil.

• He has collaborated with many singers for song compositions. These singers include, Swaroop Khan, Ravindra Upadhyay, Kunaal Vermaa, Meetu Solanki, Bundu Khan, Mohit Gaur, Jagirdar RV, Rajneesh Jaipuri, Cyli Khare, Young H, Gaurav Jain and many other artists.

• In 2018, Rapperiya Baalam became part of the group Swagsthaan and appeared on the Season 8 of the television show India’s Got Talent, which aired on Color’s TV.

• The group included singers and musicians such as Ravindra Upadhyay, Sumer Dangi and Saurabh Parihar, along with Rapperiya Baalam.

• In 2021, he released music album “Thar Coast,” a project built around Rajasthani hip-hop.

• The album many artists, including Jagirdar RV, Dr. Kush, Emcee NRS, Kehar, Risky, Rudhraxx, Eklavya, M3, J-Nee, Rajnigandha Shekhawat and Brian Peterkin, along with Rapperiya Baalam.

• After that, Spotify, a digital music platform, described his album “Thar Coast” as a 16-track album featuring 16 artists.

• One of Rapperiya Baalam’s most successful music projects was the Shoorveer series.

• His first “Shoorveer” song was released in 2020. It was followed by “Shoorveer II” in 2021 and “Shoorveer III” in 2022. The songs in the series focused on historical figures such as Maharana Pratap and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.

• The song “Shoorveer III,” which was released in 2022 included artists Shambho, Rajneesh Jaipuri, Jagirdar RV and Meetu Solanki. Rapperiya Baalam was the songwriter and producer of the song.

• In 2025, he released many song, such as “Shoorveer Rana Kumbha,” “F.I.R,” “Jaago Jaago Kishan Kanhaiya,” “Leta Jaijo.”

• In January 2026, he released “Welcome to Rajasthan,” a song which featured the Ismail Langa Group, Jagirdar RV and Gtansh. Rapperiya Baalam sang and composed the song, while Ashok Manda served as songwriter and composer.

• On 29 August 2026, he relased the song “Hu Ru Ru 2,” featuring Chotu Khan and Jagirdar RV.

• Apart from Rajasthani, he can rap in Hindi, English, and Haryanvi, with Punjabi hooks.

• He is influenced by musicians, such as Bohemia, Eminem and 50 Cent, and by music composers Salim-Sulaiman.

• In May 2026, he composed the campaign song for the IPL team Rajasthan Royals.

• In September 2026, Rapperiya Baalam made headlines because of a dispute over his song “Shoorveer,” which was used in the film Mirzapur: The Movie.

• He stated through a social media post that the song was created as a tribute to Maharana Pratap and objected to its use in a scene involving fictional gangster characters. He added that the song was used in the film without his permission or proper information.

• He said that the copyright documents for the song “Shoorveer” were registered in his legal name, Ashok Manda, and that he had copyright certificates for the songs in the series.

• He added that the songs were created to help young people learn about Indian history through rap.

• He then sent a legal notice to Excel Entertainment, the company associated with the film, and demanded to remove the song from the film with an apology.

• After that, the music label Trouper Records stated that “Shoorveer” had been officially licensed to Excel Entertainment for use in the film.
