  • Abhijith is an Indian actor, playback singer, film director, and film producer who works in Kannada films.
  • He was born and raised in a middle-class family in a small village in Karnataka.
  • Abhijith was interested in acting from his school days, where he actively participated in school events. He also did theatre to learn acting skills.
  • In 1980 he moved to Bangalore, Karnataka from his village to get work in films and TV.
  • In an interview, Abhijith mentioned that he struggled a lot to get a chance in films. He would go to film directors directly to get opportunities in acting.
  • Abhijith started his film career as a film representative of films.
  • In late 1980, Abhijith got some chances to work in films like Samsarada Guttu (1986), Krishna Mechchida Radha (1987), Jana Nayaka (1988), Ondaagi Baalu (1989), and Bannada Gejje (1990), but all the roles were very short.

Later the title changed to Vishu.
