  • Goel’s father, Ashish Goel, hails from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. He was the topper of the 1990 IIT-JEE batch. He studied Computer Science at IIT Kanpur and earned a PhD degree from Stanford University.
  • His father later became a professor of Management Science and Engineering at Stanford University. Earlier, he also worked at Twitter, where he helped to develop the platform’s monetisation model.
  • Along with his regular schooling at Henry M. Gunn High School, Agastya also enrolled at Stanford Online High School to study modern physics and multiverse calculus.
