• When Amit Rao was in third class, he participated in a stage play at his school.

• While growing up, he joined some acting clubs in his hometown and began working as a theatre artist.

• After completing his formal education, Amit Rao worked as a health visitor in the district TB Centre in the Gurugram Health Department for 22 years.

• He has also worked as a stage anchor in many Ramleela stage shows in Gurugram.

• In 2024, the makers of the Bollywood film ‘The Diary of West Bengal’ announced that they would make a film titled ‘The Diary of Manipur’ on the issue of Manipur violence. They signed Amit Rao to play the role of a politician.

• During a press conference here, he said that he was an active theatre artist for a long time. Earlier, he was getting many offers from Hindi cinema. Amit Rao said,
  

  I have been getting film offers for a long time, but I never took acting in films seriously. When the director contacted me for this film and told me the story of the film, I could not stop myself from working in this film. I think this is a good time for my debut in Bollywood.”

• In the film, the Mahakumbh viral girl Monalisa Bhosle was also offered a role.
