• Ankit Bathla is an Indian television actor who is known for his roles in Hindi television shows like Madhav in Beta Hi Chahiye, Dhruv Pandey in Thapki Pyar Ki and Akshay Khanna in Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh, Piyaji.

• When he was in school, he was interested in hosting events. His parents and teachers were supportive of him. He used to read the news on stage in his school.

• He started his career as an anchor with Mr and Ms Elan’s contest, Neurocon (2012), the Lohri event at the US Club, the Pune Cultural Festival, Race2 press conference. He also used to anchor in marriages and sangeet functions.

• In 2016, Ankit hosted the finale of Benadryl Big Golden Voice Season 4 in Mumbai and Hasi Ka Pitara. In an interview, Ankit said that he wanted more work as an anchor.

• While pursuing his graduation, he was interested in dramatics and played an important role in setting up the dramatics society in his college.

• Before starting his career in acting, he worked as a trainer at the credit card company American Express. He used to work the night shift there and attend college in the morning.

• He made his debut in 2011 on DD National in a show called Sammaan Ek Adhikaar, playing an anti-hero character followed by the show Kal To Hai Apna. In the same year, he appeared in Bhagonwali-Baante Apni Taqdeer on Zee TV and played the role of Abhigyan. Following that, he played Arjun in Mata Ki Chowki on Sahara One, and played the role of Ayush, the youngest son of Leela Parekh (Apara Mehta), in Hamari Saas Leela on Colors TV. In 2010, he played the role of Gaurav in the show Hum on DD National, starring alongside Mona Vasu.

• In 2012, he appeared in the TV series Haar Jeet on Imagine TV, playing the role of Abhigyan.

• In 2013, Ankit was part of the TV show Beta Hi Chahiye, playing the character Madhav on Big Magic alongside Garima Tiwari. The show marked the debut of the first daily soap opera on BIG Magic by Reliance Entertainment.

• Following Beta Hi Chahiye, Ankit took on the character of Karan Khanna in Ek Veer Ki Ardaas…Veera on StarPlus. In the show, he played the love interest of Veera, played by Digangana Suryavanshi.

• In the fifth episode of Love by Chance, aired on Bindass, Ankit played the character Lieutenant Colonel Kanishka Mehta.

• In November 2014, Bathla became part of the Ajab Gajab Ghar Jamai show produced by Red Dot Productions on Big Magic, taking on the role of Krishna.

• In March 2015, Bathla featured in an episode of the Red Dot Productions show Halla Bol on Bindass.

• He was part of a mythological TV show called “Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman” on Sony Entertainment Television which started on 4 May 2015.

• He played the character Dhruv Pandey on the Colors TV show “Thapki Pyar Ki” from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, he quit the show Thapki Pyaar Ki because he didn’t want to play the role of a father.

• Ankit has also worked in various Indonesian television shows. In 2017, he acted in an Indonesian series titled “Cinta Di Pangkuan Himalaya” on antv. His popular Hindi show ‘Thapki Pyar Ki’ which aired on Colors TV was dubbed in Indonesian and broadcast there. He used to visit Indonesia to greet his fans. In an interview, he said that while working on the Indonesian series, initially, he faced a language barrier. In the interview, he further added,
  

  At first the language was difficult, so we used to speak in English and they would be dubbed in Indonesian, but eventually, I learned the language. I think it’s quite an interesting language and very good to learn.”

• In 2017, he appeared as a judge on the Mr and Ms Delhi.

• In 2018, he appeared as Akshay Khanna in the television show Tu Sooraj, Main Saanjh Piyaji on StarPlus.

• On 17 March 2018, he became part of the web series “Love, Lust, and Confusion” by VIU India, which starred Tara Alisha Berry.

• He played the role of Arjun in the mythological show Paramavatar Shri Krishna on &TV in 2019.
