  • He belongs to a conservative, middle-class educator family. His parents are government teachers in Visakhapatnam, and his grandfather is a retired headmaster at a government school in Visakhapatnam.
  • In an interview, he revealed that he was an average student who was more interested in extracurricular activities than academics. However, his family wanted him to concentrate on his studies and pass the IIT entrance exam.
  • Ankith once mentioned that his brother was his greatest support system, and he helped him financially during his early days of struggling in the film industry.
  • He was an active participant in street plays, pantomimes, and many other cultural programs in school and college. He also trained his fellow actors in plays and events.

  • In an interview, he once revealed he had promised his family that he would give only 1 year to the film, and if nothing worked, he would continue his regular job as they wished. But within 1 year, he bagged his big screen offer in Manjili (2019).
