• Prior to this, he served as Secretary of the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM), where he was actively involved in the disinvestment and privatization of public sector enterprises.

• He also worked as the Director General of the Directorate of Hydrocarbons, contributing significantly to India’s energy sector, particularly in policy formulation related to oil and gas exploration.
