Controversies	Not allowed to board flight On 29 December 2017, when her husband Shikhar Dhawan, along with Ayesha and their kids were travelling to Cape Town to play against South Africa, Ayesha and kids were stopped at Dubai airport from boarding the flight as they weren't having birth certificates for the kids. Cruelty against Shikhar Dhawan After Ayesha announced her divorce with Shikhar Dhawan, they had a battle for cutody for their son, Zoravar, as Shikhar alleged that Ayesha did not allow him to meet his son. She responded by sharing defamatory posts against Shikhar and also sent messages to Shikhar's friends, family, and other cricket officials following which Shikhar registered a police complaint against Ayesha to stop her committing such acts. A Delhi family court gave in verdict in favour of Shikhar on 4 October 2023 and said that Ayesha was mentally harassing Shikhar by keeping their son, Zorawar, away from him.
