Controversies | Drunk Driving Charges In July 2015, he met with a road accident. When he was checked, he was drunk. The Northampton Magistrates' Court banned him for driving for one year. Bar Accident with James Anderson After winning the 2017 Ashes, he and several other players were partying at a bar in Perth. During the party, Duckett poured a drink over James Anderson's head. ECB suspended him and also fined him for the incident. Though initially, it was said that he poured beer, Duckett later clarified that it was a mix of vodka and lemonade. He had to wait for 5 years before returning to the national team in 2022. |
