  • In 2014, Chatterjee became one of the early adopters of Dolby Atmos sound technology in any Indian cinema.
  • In 2015, he won his second National Award for the film Bajirao Mastani (2015).
  • Over years, Bishwadeep has been known to introduce and bring in a fresh approach in recording methods. Some of his notable projects as a sound engineer for Television serials are Chanakya (1991), Junoon (1993) and Swabhiman (1994).

  • Bishwadeep has started TAFA (Timbreworx Advanced Film Audiography (TAFA), an institute that provide specialized training in film audiography.
