Controversies• In 2018, a case relating to fraud allegations on Cho's father surfaced the media. Reportedly, Mr A lent an amount of 300 million won (Rs. 1.77 crores) to Cho's father. Mr A contacted Yeo-jeong's agency, High Entertainment to contact Yeo-jeong to inform her about his financial damage. After the news broke, High Entertainment released an official statement apologizing to Mr A for irresponsible action of Cho's father; promising to sort out the matter as a soon as possible.
