• His father, George Fiji, stated during a media talk that there was zero visiblity. He said,
  

  As rain lashed the area on the wedding night, Dave expressed concerns about the weather being unfavourable for takeoff. As he himself was a first officer for Delta Air Lines, he told the pilot that there is zero visibility — a condition when “we never fly.”

• The helicopter took off towards Peachtree-DeKalb airport with newlyweds. They had a hotel booking for a night in Atlanta downtown.

• The pilot of the helicopter took the flight to a greater altitude during the rain and fog. He also died in the accident.

• During a media talk, George said that Jesni Sam was stuck under the debris of the crashed helicopter for more than five hours. She was saved during a rescue operation. He said,
  

  She said when she woke up, she was under the rubble. She woke up and saw him lying on her chest. She herself is a nurse. When she touched him, she called out to him. He was already cold.”
