• In 1992, while pursuing graduation, Gajendra Singh was elected as president of the Student Union at JNVU University. During college, he was a part of the Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarthi Parishad.

•  He has also held the position of the farmer’s wing of the Bharatiya Janta Party also known as the BJP Kisan Morcha.

• He was also a member of the Rajasthan State Executive of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

• Gajendra Singh is known for his contribution towards the expansion of the Jodhpur Airport which he has been working toward for 18 years.
