• Guaynaa was raised by a Puerto Rican father and a Cuban mother.

• Guaynaa’s stage name ‘Guaynaa’ was derived from the Puerto Rican slang ‘el Guaynabito,’ which is what people around him called him as a joke. ‘Guaynabo’ is an area in Puerto Rico where, according to the island’s sayings, the rich people live.

• Before starting a career, he used to hang out with rappers and friends who dressed like rappers, which sparked his interest in rap music. He also used to rap on the streets with his friends as a hobby.

• He had a lot of singers in his family which is why he was also very inclined towards music since his childhood.

• He was raised by his family in a very poor household, and he was quoted saying in an interview that
  

  I come from a family that earned everything through a lot of sweat and tears. I don’t represent that I was raised in a golden cradle, but sometimes I look like that.”

• Initially, he had planned to be a petrochemical engineer, but decided he would rather pursue his dream in the music world.

• Before pursuing a musical career, Guaynaa was working as a phone salesman in a mall.

• Guaynaa met the Venezuelan-American actress Lele Pons for the first time in 2019 and they both collaborated on a song titled ‘Se te Nota’ (2020). They both started dating each other in 2020 and after a year of dating, the couple got engaged in 2022 and got married in 2023.

• In 2018, Guaynaa released a Spanish song titled ‘Rebota’ which got him immense fame all around the world. The song reached number 35 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart in April 2019 and it holds more than 590 million views on YouTube, as of 2025.

• A remix of the song ‘Rebota’ was made by international artists including Becky G, Farruko, Nicky Jam, and Sech and the song was later certified 4× platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America’s (RIAA) Latin division.

• After the success of Guaynaa’s song titled ‘Rebota,’ he signed a joint record deal with Universal Music Latino and Republic Records.

• Before getting married to his YouTuber wife Lele Pons, Guaynaa was a major drug addict and at one point his addiction got so bad that he had to be hospitalised. It was after he met Lele Pons, that he decided to get clean.

• He realised, amidst his addiction, that if he continued this lifestyle, then he would end up losing Lele Pons, which made him quit that life and start a new life. Guaynaa always credits his wife and his parents for their strong willpower which made him quit his addictive habits.

• In 2021, Guaynaa was featured on Korean singer Chungha’s debut studio album titled ‘Querencia’ on the track titled ‘Demente.’

• In the same year, he released his studio album titled ‘La República’ which consisted of a total of 16 songs. The album featured many international artists and some of them were India Martínez, Noel Schajris, Los Ángeles Azules, and Kiko El Crazy.

• In 2022, Guaynaa got into a car accident when a drunk driver crashed into the car he was riding in. Guaynaa was hospitalised with a serious neck injury and had to undergo microsurgery and therapy as part of his recovery.

• In 2023, he released another studio album titled ‘Capitulaciones’ which consisted of a total of 10 songs.

• In 2024, Guaynaa started his ‘OnlyFans’ account which is an internet content subscription service which is popular with sex workers who produce pornography. Guaynaa started his account for his ‘gay fans’ and was quoted saying in an interview that
