  • Paradox is an Indian rapper, songwriter, and music producer. He gained popularity in 2022 when he appeared in a rap competition TV show ‘MTV Hustle 2.0.’
  • When he was in school, Paradox took part in various dance and singing contests. He once tried out for a dance reality TV show Dance India Dance Li’l Masters, but he didn’t make it past the audition round.
  • While in school, his Hindi school teacher encouraged him to write poems, and he started doing so under her guidance.
  • In class 9, he wrote his first rap song for a girl who was in the same tuition classes as him.
  • From class 6 to class 10, he played Table Tennis at the national level. However, in class 10, he decided to quit playing sports because his parents wanted him to focus more on his studies.

  • When Paradox was 14 years old, he discovered hip-hop music and became interested in it. After doing some research, he wrote a few songs and took part in a rap challenge organized by Rohan Cariappa, where he was recognized as one of the top contestants. This opened up opportunities for him to collaborate with hip-hop artists from India and Nepal.
  • In 2018, Paradox saw a music video by Badshah that featured a book titled “Insolvable Paradox.” This video had such a profound impact on him that he decided to adopt the name Paradox for himself.
  • In 2022, Paradox competed in a reality TV rap show called MTV Hustle 2.0. He joined the team of Indian rapper King and ended up as the first runner-up in the show. Some of his songs, like “Rihaayi,” “Jaadugar,” “Chhore NCR Aale,” and “Glitch,” became popular during the show.

  • While he was on MTV Hustle 2.0, Badshah, impressed by Paradox’s performance, gifted him a jacket that he wore in his first live performance.
