• In school, there was this annual event, and his teacher asked him to perform on stage. He sang a song by the famous singer “Surjit Bindrakhia,” and his teacher was really impressed and told him to think about pursuing a singing career.

• When he was 19 years old, he fell victim to a fraud in which someone promised to send him to Canada for further studies. However, after receiving the money, that person ran away. After this incident, his relatives teased him a lot.

• Following this his father was determined to send him outside and approached a visa agency. They could not send Gulab to Canada but got him a visa to Singapore. After reaching Singapore, only after 10 days, he came back as he could not adjust there.

• Though he made his debut in 2014, he gained fame after his song Parle Ji in 2017.
