Some Lesser Known Facts About Harsh Tokas
- When he was ten years old, Harsh Tokas learnt about judo. After that, he joined a local, free-of-cost academy, which was managed by his coach in Munirka, New Delhi.
- He once talked about his journey during a media talk. He said,
I used to enjoy competing and challenging myself, and that is how my judo career started. I started judo about 12 years ago when I was around 10 or 11 years old. I am from Munirka village in Delhi.”
Harsh Tokas added that he was trained at his village in a free of cost academy. He said,
There is an academy in our village run by our coach, he opened it for children free of cost so that anyone could come and train. That is where my journey began.”
- In 2018, he participated in the Macau Cadets Asian Cup championships, Macau, China, and won a bronze medal in under 81 category.
- That same year, Harsh Tokas competed in the Asian Cadet Championships, which were held in Beirut, Lebanon. He finished among the top eight competitors.
- In 2019, he finished among the top 5 competitors during the Asia-Oceania Cadet Championships, which were organised in Taipei, Chinese Taipei.
