• Jaya Nair is an Indian scientist who has served in the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) as a computer engineer. She is married to S. Unnikrishnan Nair, the head of the Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC). He was part of the scientific team that played a vital role in the successful moon landing of Chandrayaan-3, India’s third lunar exploration mission in August 2023.
