- Kanchan Joshi is an Indian educator known for being the wife of Zomato co-founder Deepinder Goyal.
- After completing her formal education, she began working as an assistant professor at the Department of Mathematics at Delhi University in 2009. She has also been working as a Postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Mathematics at IIT Delhi since 2009.
- Reportedly, Kanchan Joshi, met her husband, Deepinder Goyal, at IIT-Delhi. They were both enrolled in the same department (mathematics and computing). When she was pursuing her master’s degree in Mathematics, Deepinder Goyal would often see her in the labs. At the age of 18, Goyal fell deeply in love with her. Once, during a media discussion, Goyal revealed that he chased Kanchan for six weeks, and then proposed to her. Goyal said,
I chased her for six months by hanging out with her. We understand each other very well. We haven’t fought in years.”
