- Kendall Jenner grew up in Calabasas, California.
- The middle name “Nicole” was added to her name to give tribute to her mother’s friend Nicole Brown Simpson who died just before she was conceived.
- She aimed to be a model from a very young age.
- Kendall attended Sierra Canyon School in LA, where she was a cheerleader and rode horses for nearly a decade. However, she quit school in the 9th grade due to her growing commitments to modelling. Later, she and her sister Kylie Jenner switched to homeschooling.
- At 13, she started her modelling career after signing with the agency Wilhelmina Models (now Wilhelmina) on 12 July 2009. Her portfolio shoot was directed by photographer Nick Saglimbeni.
