Controversies | • Mexican Judge ordered Laura Bozzo prison time in a tax crime case In 2021, Laura Bozzo was accused of disposing a property which was already seized by Servicio de Administración Tributaria (SAT), the tax department of Mexico. The judge ordered a preventive detention for Laura Bozzo at the Santiaguito prison in Almoloya de Juárez. According to her, the whole issue was caused by the mismanagement of her accountants. After the arrest warrant was issued in August 2021, she was allegedly absconding and didn't voluntarily present herself before the prison authorities.
