- Madhan Bob was born as the eighth child in his family, he engaged in self-learning, mastering music, yoga, boxing, and self-hypnotism from a young age.
- He overcame childhood stammering using self-hypnotism and kept himself occupied by playing musical instruments and performing arts.
- Before acting, he worked as a medical representative and later as a sales officer before entering the music industry.
- Under musicians S Ramanathan, Harihara Sharma, and ‘Vikku’ Vinayakaram, he learned Western classical and Carnatic music.
- In 1975, he became the first person to play guitar on Doordarshan Chennai, also composing for ads, dramas, and radio shows.
