  • According to some reports, after the accident, the mobile phones of all people died in the incident were switched off. When their families could not reach them despite repeated calls, they informed the police.
  • A search operation by the police was then launched with the help of Mahabaleshwar Trekkers and other local NGOs. The local police recovered the bodies from the valley.
  • After the incident, the lead actor of TV series, Appi Amchi Collectior, Rohit Parshuram shared an emotional tribute for Pawar on Instagram. He wrote,
