  • Naorem Roshibina Devi made her international Wushu debut in the 48 kg category at the Burgas World Junior Wushu Championship which was held in Bulgaria in 2016.
  • In 2017, Naorem Roshibina took part in the Asian Junior Wushu Championship held in Gumi, South Korea.

  • In 2023, she also became part of the 2022 Asian Games which were held in Hangzhou, China.
  • Before pursuing her career in Wushu, Naorem wanted to get into Boxing; however, during her teenage, she went to see a wushu competition and that’s how she got inclined towards the spot.
  • At the age of seven, Naorem collected a bunch of torn clothes and made a punching bag out of it on which she could practice her wushu moves. Knowing this, a local wushu player named Malemnganbi Devi started training her informally at home. Later, Naorem joined the Sports Authority of India’s (SAI) branch in Manipur and started her formal wushu training under coach M. Premkumar.
  • After receiving a silver medal at the 2022 Asian Games, Naorem Roshibina Devi started crying while giving interviews as the win was bittersweet for her. She was happy but sad at the same time due to the violent situation in 2023, in Manipur caused by persistent ethnic violence.
