- Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey was born and raised in a rural area of Gorakhpur on the bank of the Rapti River.
- His grandfather was an officer in the Indian National Army.
- In an interview, Narendra Nath said that he belongs to a very rural area and faced many challenges in his education.
- Narendra was a very bright student since childhood.
- In an interview, Narendra Dhar mentioned that he wanted to study Science and Mathematics since childhood, but his parents didn’t allow him to study Science, so he had to choose Arts as his subjects.
- After his junior college, he gave the entrance test of the University of Allahabad, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. He stood second in the entrance test, but his parents did not allow him to go too far from home, and insisted him to take admission in a nearby college or University. The reason for that was that one of his elder brothers had died in a road accident, and his family was afraid of highways and busy roads.
- Later, he gave the entrance test for Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, Uttar Pradesh, and took admission for his Graduation Degree in Arts.
