  • He gained recognition for his exceptional voice and distinctive style of delivering dialogues. His career started as a performer during his school days, primarily focusing on radio plays. His voice quickly became well-known to the audience, particularly through his involvement in Akashvani’s series of children’s plays.
  • When he was 12, during his seventh standard, he was chosen as one of the 15 individuals to participate in Aagasavani. He completed his studies until the eleventh standard and then ventured into acting with a theatre company named ‘Kalastanyam Drama Vision.’ He took on a minor role in the play Oralakudi Kallanai, earning a monthly salary of Rs. 500. During this time, he was married and a father.
  • Initially, his ventures into cinema were not very successful, so he did other jobs as well. However, he was later reintroduced to the stage by Mr Achari, which proved to be a turning point in his career. He became involved in popular plays like Raktharakshassu and Kayamkulam Kochunni and became a popular name in the theatre industry.
