Controversies	• Controversial comment on Amaravati: Pradeep Machiraju was heavily slammed on social media after he made a controversial comment in one of his shows about Amaravati, the capital of Andhra Pradesh. Netizens considered that his remark on Amaravati offended the sentiments of Andhra Pradesh’s natives and Andhra Pradesh Parirakshana Samithi, and he should apologize for it. Moreover, Srinivasa Rao, the Amaravati JAC leader, in an interview, said that if he would not apologize then they will raid his house. Later, Machiraju shared a video on social media through which he asserted that he didn’t want to hurt people’s sentiments intentionally, and his remarks were misinterpreted, and he apologised for his remarks in the video.
