• Rahul Prakash was an Indian politician and a member of the Apna Dal (Sonelal) party who was elected as the MLA from Chhanbey Assembly constituency in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh in 2017 and 2022. On 2 February 2023, he died in Sushrut Hospital, Mumbai due to cancer.

• His father, Pakauri Lal Kol, is also a member of the Apna Dal (Sonelal) party who was elected as an MLA from Robertsganj Assembly constituency in 2022.

• In 2018, his brother was arrested in a case of assault while attending Durga Puja in Amoi village. ^[5]Patrika
