• In addition to hosting live television and events, Rajesh also worked as a writer and wrote articles for publications such as the Deccan Chronicle.

• In 2011, he entered the film industry in a supporting actor capacity, debuting with the film Beautiful. His other notable works are in the films Trivandrum Lodge (2012), Hotel California (2013), Nee-Na (2015), and Thattum Purath Achuthan (2018). His performance in Thattum Purath Achuthan gained him recognition in acting.

• On 24 August 2025, during a live event in Kochi, Rajesh Keshav suffered a sudden cardiac arrest and collapsed on stage. He was immediately rushed to Lakeshore Hospital, Kochi, where he underwent emergency angioplasty.

• According to the hospital, Rajesh was in cardiac arrest for half an hour, the blood supply to the brain was cut off, resulting in serious damage to the brain cells, and as of 29 August 2025, he has been on ventilator support.

• Since the news of his condition spread, social media has been flooded with messages of support and hope from fans, celebrities, and fellow industry professionals. Filmmaker Prathap Jayalakshmi, who was present at the event, shared a heartfelt message on social media,

“Our beloved Rajesh, the man who once set every stage ablaze with life, now lies silent, breathing only with the help of a machine. What he needs now is not medicine alone, but the unstoppable power of our love and prayers.”
