- Rasheed Naz is a Pakistani actor who is known for his roles in Pakistani TV dramas and films. In 2023, he appeared in the film ’72 Hoorain,’ a multi-lingual film.
- He started working with his family in their fruit trading business, after completing his studies.
- He started his acting career in the Pashto television industry. However, he later started working in Urdu and Hindko television dramas and films.
- In an interview, he talked about his entry into the showbiz industry. He said that during the war of 1971 between India and Pakistan, he, along with his friends, decided to help the needy people for which they organised a variety show as a means of raising funds. It was during this event that he was spotted by a Pashto television production company which later offered him a role in a Pashto drama.
- It was his appearance in the television drama ‘Namoos’ that brought him widespread recognition and fame.
- In 1993, he acted in the Urdu television drama ‘Dasht,’ which was broadcasted on Pakistan’s first private channel NTM.
