- Rashmi Saluja was serving on the board of directors of Religare when the company faced major problems in 2018. She took the responsibility to help the group and accepted the challenge of rebuilding the brand.
- In 2018, the shareholders formed a new board and chose her to lead the group. She became the Executive Chairperson of Religare Enterprises Limited.
- Rashmi Saluja was also appointed as the Chairperson and Managing Director of Religare Finvest Limited.
- She was designated as the Non-Executive Chairperson of Care Health Insurance Limited, Religare Broking Limited, and other subsidiaries.
- Rashmi Saluja joined the board of Religare Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited (RHDFCL) on 8 March 2019.
- In 2023, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) cleared the largest shareholder of Religare Enterprises and the promoters of the Dabur Group, the Burmans, from any wrongdoing in a case filed against them.

- On 27 September 2024, the Burman family demanded Rashmi’s removal as the chairperson of the board of Care Health Insurance, but the board decided not to remove her on 1 October 2024.
