• He became the CEO of Baramati Agro Pvt. Ltd. at the age of 21. Under his leadership, the company distributed about 170 water tankers daily to areas in Ahmednagar, Beed, and Man-Khatav in Satara.

• He served as the youngest president of the Indian Sugar Mill Association (ISMA) from September 2018 to 2019.

• Rohit Pawar defeated the BJP candidate Ram Shinde by 43,347 votes in the 2019 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly elections; Rohit contested the elections on a ticket from the Nationalist Congress Party from the Karjat Jamkhed constituency.

The camp conducted 4745 surgeries, 3145 angiographies, 1069 angioplasties, and 421 bypass surgeries for free. He also inaugurated 5 ambulances and a mobile clinic for women to ensure healthcare access for the underprivileged.

• He has also organised various campaigns for causes like COVID-19 vaccination, blood donation, eye check-ups, and spectacles distribution.

• During the COVID-19 pandemic and Lumpy Skin Disease outbreaks, he organised large vaccination camps. In September 2022, he distributed 1 lakh vaccination doses, making Karjat-Jamkhed the first constituency in Maharashtra to achieve 100% vaccination for Lumpy Skin Disease.

• Rohit has taken steps to address water scarcity issues by launching ‘Parivartan Parva’ in about 207 villages of Karjat and Jamkhed. The initiative aimed to educate villagers about watershed management and increase water literacy among about 50,000 residents through awareness programs.

• Rohit has also focused on supporting farmers, particularly those marginalised ones in Maharashtra. He has distributed about 65 tractors and 338 agricultural tools in his constituency through various schemes.

• Rohit tackled the issue of high drip irrigation costs by securing government subsidies (80% for small farmers and 75% for others), which benefited about 1485 farmers with Rs. 2.95 crore in aid. He also obtained Rs. 190 crore in insurance payments for farmers during the Kharif season.

• During the pandemic, he launched the #MyVillageMySchool initiative under which he provided digital panels to 435 Zilla Parishad schools.

• He once partnered with Amazon India to distribute 250 smart tablets to 76 primary schools and set up coding labs in schools up to 8th grade in Karjat and Jamkhed.
