Controversies | • Police Case Filed For Rash Driving In 2011, he was arrested by the Mumbai Police for rash driving. He was driving his Mercedes car when he rammed into another car in which a family of four people were travelling. According to the local police, the incident happened at around 6:45 am on Linking Road near Sab TV lane. Ronit was with his brother in the car. The local police arrested Ronit under two sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) Section 279 for reckless driving on a public road and Section 338 for causing serious injuries to others by endangering their lives. Later, he was granted bail with as surety of Rs 12000 by the Bandra Metropolitan Magistrate Court. - Ronit Roy is an Indian TV & film actor. He is known for playing the role of Rishabh Bajaj in the Star Plus Hindi TV serial ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ (2001).
- In childhood, he lived in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
- He shifted to Mumbai from Gujarat after completing his diploma in hotel management.
- During his initial days in Mumbai, he stayed at the residence of Indian director Subhash Ghai, a good friend of his father.
- He then joined Sea Rock Hotel in Mumbai, as an intern. He did various odd jobs there like washing dishes, cleaning tables, serving at the tables, and working as a bartender.
