Controversies | • Defamed for getting married at the Boone Hall Plantation In 2020, Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively were found in a controversy related to their wedding venue. The couple was demeaned to have gotten married at the Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina as the venue was a former plantation site.
