Controversy	Accusations of Corruption by COAS In 2022, a few weeks prior to General Bajwa's retirement, a Pakistani news channel published a news article containing Bajwa's tax statement. According to the tax report, his family including Saad Bajwa, Saad's wife, and Saad's father-in-law collectively owned assets worth Rs. 12 billion.
